America Today A Reflection
There was a time when Black America and minority communities understood that freedom had to be defended, demanded, and carried forward by those who needed it most. People marched. People organized. People took ownership of their future.
Today, something has shifted.
Minority America sleeps while others take on the mantle of fighting for freedoms that affect us all. Too often, this generation watches from the sidelines, laughing, disengaged, claiming they do not care, until the moment arrives when they are forced to care.
